GLOCAL Journals

The SOAS GLOCAL publishes several Journals. All GLOCAL journals are strictly free to publish, double blind reviewed. The GLOCAL will not at any point endorse pay to publish academic scholarship, and acts against this at all unnecessary times. The GLOCAL journals comply fully with COPE policies and ethical standards, so as to maximize its assistance to those academics globally who pursue work in Linguistic Cultural Anthropology. 

The Journal of Asian Linguistic Anthropology represents an international peer reviewed journal seeking to strengthen the junctures between linguistics and anthropology, in and for Asian regions. The JALA is produced in collaboration with The GLOCAL, The Global Council on Anthropological Linguistics. Following repeated requests from global bodies for such a journal, JALA has emerged to satisfy the need for Anthropological and Linguistic representation which is situated and yet.

The Journal of Mediterranean and European Linguistic Anthropology is an international peer reviewed journal seeking to strengthen the junctures between linguistics and anthropology, in and for Mediterranean and European regions. The JOMELA is produced in collaboration with The GLOCAL – The Global Council on Anthropological Linguistics.
