GLOCAL PUBLICATIONS
General
The GLOCAL publishes several categories of work. Through these publications, the GLOCAL, as its central intention, aims to expose significant work on linguistic social and cultural anthropology, sociolinguistics, and related work, to scrutiny, in order to assist scholars to both expose their work, and to to develop their work, and their contribution to academia.
Journals
The GLOCAL publishes several journals, as indexed publications at various levels of impact. The impact of these journals has risen throughout their lifespan, a rise which has positioned the journals as central to work on global yet localized linguistic cultural anthropology. The GLOCAL takes great strides in working with all contributors to develop submitted manuscripts in order to increase the possibility of the papers passing the double blind review process.
Conference Proceedings Books
The GLOCAL conference proceedings books include papers presented at the GLOCAL conferences, and then developed for the purposes of the proceedings volume. All GLOCAL conference proceedings books are SCOPUS and Web of Science / ISI indexed. As such, papers presented at the conferences and that pass the subsequent proceedings review process are indexed as such. The GLOCAL conference proceedings books, as the only linguistic anthropology and sociolinguistic conference proceedings globally to be indexed through SCOPUS and WoS / ISI, foreground the significant work of scholars globally, and not simply those from strong or prestigious institutions.
Policy Documents
The GLOCAL works with organizations, government bodies, regional bodies, and academic institutions, to advise on and to prepare policy documents. These policy documents at times sit strongly within academic boundaries, and at other times, assume a much more commercial, cultural, or legal character. The development of these policy documents by the GLOCAL foregrounds its versatility in preparing documentation across the gamut of scholarly genres.
Monographs
GLOCAL monographs submitted to strong publishers include papers prepared and developed from either previous work submitted to the GLOCAL, or as new contributions by authors. These monographs are frequently short books that present innovative analytical and theoretical work in linguistic anthropology, sociolinguistics, language and society, critical and literary, aspects connected to social communication, the discourse analysis of documented talk, and so forth.
