LACASA

LACASA, The Linguistic and Cultural Anthropology project of Saudi Arabia, is an initiative set up to build on the Saudi Arabian efforts to strengthen awareness of its cultural and linguistic heritage. This strengthening is achieved through academic work, such as documenting languages, culture, and more, throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and presenting this to scholars, to other cultural and language workers, both within the KSA, and globally, and to the KSA government, so as to assist the government to progress in its efforts to campaigns such as VISION 2030.

Employing ethnographic tools, LACASA aims to present Saudi Arabia’s immensely rich cultural and linguistic diversity, sitting within an eclectic cosmopolitan modern Saudi Arabia, a country which combines technological progress, media innovation, and global know how, with its cultural roots.
