The SOAS GLOCAL LIAISE series, the Linguistic Anthropology Interview Sessions, documents Linguistic Anthropologists globally, their work, and their biographies. The video series also documents scholars in fields pertinent to Linguistic Anthropology, and others whose efforts have contributed significantly over the past several decades.
The SOAS GLOCAL LAC series, the documenting of Language and Community, globally, provides updates on issues on the junctures between language and cultural and social phenomena. The articles present a brief summary of these issues, as a gateway to larger and more in-depth documentation.

The SOAS GLOCAL AA – Anthro Archives
The SOAS GLOCAL Anthro Archives project is a documentary series on the past 200 years of work and people in the Social Sciences, Humanities, and other connected fields. The series contains over 10,000 episodes and parts, narrated for accessibility by both scholars and those outside of academia.
The SOAS GLOCAL Phonology AI project combines global phonology with artificial intelligence. The moving diagrams visualize the mouth in its efforts to articulate sounds and their clusters in languages globally. The project will continuously build on data from various global corpuses, and hence, initial models and visualizations are fundamental. Over time, the visualizations will become increasingly more complex, more 3d, and more interactive.
The SOAS GLOCAL PhAI – Artificial Intelligence Phonology
The SOAS GLOCAL VRM – Visualizing Research Methods
The VRM series is a library of animations visually presenting Social Sciences and Humanities research methods. Scholars can use VRM to visually teach methodology, which is largely still only learnable through the use and processing of data. The VRM allows for a diagrammatic understanding of research methods without the need to collect and use data for learning purposes but can complement the use of data during learning.
The SOAS GLOCAL has developed short written descriptions on aspects of Linguistic Anthropology. Scholars can use these to supplement their own academic work in the field.
